See God's Preservation of His Holy Word through the Hidden History
Some of the subjects covered in these notes:
Where We Must Start: Man did not decide the canon of Scripture, for Psalm 119:89 says, "Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." God settled the canon before He breathed it (II Timothy 3:16) to men He made holy (II Peter 1:20,21)..
From Antioch with Love traces the hidden history of how God preserved His inspired Word from the very pens of the Apostles through local, independent Bible-believing churches.
Meet Satan, the great PerVERSIONist: In the Garden, at Christ's temptation and in the newer translations Satan has doctrinally changed Scripture to destroy or greatly weaken the Person, deity and work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The Question of Revision: The claim of "scholars" that the King James Bible has been revised 5 to 7 times, and the Bible we have now is not a 1611, but a 1769, is a false coverup for their desire to aid Satan in perverting God's Word. The Bible Mini-Museum displays Bibles from 1611 through 1792 that prove no revision. No person has been able to put their "proof" of any "revision" on the table - they cannot because they cannot prove what is not there! Print style and spelling changes, and yearly typograhic corrections do not constitute revisions because revisions must include a change in the meaning, which never occurs from 1611 to the present. One must be aware, though, that recently publishers have begun subtle changes to the wordings that alter the meaning while still calling their bibles "King James."
In Search of a Holy Bible: A list of nearly 300 New Testament verses and several Old Testament verses points out the word omissions, substitutions or additions that deny cardinal doctrines in Scripture. The significance of the changes and how they impact sound Bible teaching are briefly given for each passage, and then the changes made by several new versions are listed.
This is a partial list of the subjects covered. Normal duration of a conference is two 50 minute sessions per night over a three night period. But this can be tailored to your church's need.
The Conference comes with the Mini Museum Bible display which includes Bibles, reproductions, portions and pages dating back to 350 a.d. The speaker is Pastor Lee Spencer. |
